CEFA Aviation appoints a Director of International Communication
The size of independent Alsace-based CEFA Aviation may class it as a SME but its base of 80 international clients, including the world’s largest airlines, places it in the playing field of the industry giants. The company is currently capitalizing on its innovation capacity to expand and has recruited a Director of International Communication to strengthen its brand image and support the deployment of its software dedicated to pilot training and aviation safety.
“I am delighted to be bringing my skills to the fascinating world of aeronautics and, more specifically, to be joining an innovative high-tech company of human proportions. We will be developing inbound marketing, storytelling, social media, digitalization and many other tools to promote the missions of CEFA Aviation,” Claire Freudenberger told us. The 38-year-old from Alsace has just been appointed Director of International Communication at the company which is internationally known for its flight data animation software. “I want to thank the company’s founder and owner, Dominique Mineo: I really value his commitment to communications and his willingness to invest in an area which is a vital component of a company’s growth, particularly a micro-enterprise or SME.”
Claire is a business school graduate who brings with her not only a 15+-year business experience in different sectors, from automotive to construction, but also a passion for communications, an area in which she shares her knowledge on a daily basis. The Alsace local will also join the company’s Executive Committee, testifying to the strategic impact brand image has on a company’s development.
Her missions include developing and implementing the company’s communications strategy, supporting the sales and marketing its solutions, organizing press relations and events and strengthening its brand. One of these tasks is already implemented with the strengthening of the company’s digital communications: the latest news about CEFA Aviation and its developments are now to be found on a regular basis on Twitter, LinkedIn and the new Facebook page.
“We are pleased to welcome Claire to the team which can only benefit from her enthusiasm, ideas and experience,” Dominique Mineo told us. “Airline traffic is currently experiencing an unprecedented boom and more than 250,000 additional commercial airline pilots will have to be recruited between now and 2027. As a result, the need for pilot training is growing but we still need to ensure the sky is a safe place. In this environment, the issues of communication are fundamental. CEFA Aviation has a very good reputation for its expertise and support service among its clients, which are currently the flight safety and analysis departments of airlines. We now need to reinforce this reputation within the airlines’ training departments but also towards prospective clients, partners, journalists, employees and young talents.”
