Quite rightly, Flight Safety Authorities and Organisations recommend the use of anomaly or event detection tools based on the analysis of flight data recorder (FDR) information. Even if flight data recorder analysis constitutes a major advance in the improvement of flight safety, it is only the first stage in the detection and prevention/correction process. However, a partial representation of flight parameters simply shown as curves or values (essential for analysis but not tailored to our perception) can only give a truncated view of reality. Only a full dynamic analysis of all the parameters can claim to be objective! CEFA is the only tool capable of meeting that need. Offering rapid, accurate analysis in a familiar environment: a true cockpit, virtual, certainly, but completely realistic. In fact, each instrument is reproduced identically, both in its system of symbols and in its way of functioning with exceptional graphic quality. CEFA really does transport us to the heart of the event for a more practical approach. CEFA can realistically and accurately reconstruct a flight just a few minutes after the data from the flight data recorder becomes available. CEFA accepts CSV (ASCII – Spreadsheet) files in engineering units and can easily interface with any black boxes reading software capable of converting raw data.
